  • NCSO designation with over 10 years’ experience in Health and Safety within the Oil & Gas / Construction Industries.

  • Health and Safety Administration and Human Resources Management

  • Instructor of Red Cross Standard First Aid, and Work Safe BC OFA Level 1 first Aid.

  • Creation and Submission of Traffic Management Plans for work on roadways.

  • Develop, maintain, improve, and communicate the safety program to all employees and ensure it meets OH&S legislative requirements, industry standards and client requirements.

  • Provide high impact safety presentations.

  • Identify training requirements for the company and conduct training or arrange for delivery of training.

  • Conduct company safety meetings and participate in worksite and client safety meetings/discussions.

  • Monitor safety practices by conducting safety inspections and enforcing the company policies, procedures, rules, and legislation.

  • Investigate all reports, make recommendations to prevent reoccurrence and communicate this information to all relevant parties.

  • Complete all appropriate WCB claims and identify any modified duties that can be performed.

  • Maintain all safety documentation and ensure that health and safety statistics are completed, maintained, and compared.

  • Conduct and/or participate in the annual company health and safety audit.
